Caring for your Crawfish.
1. One cooler per sack, unless two fit with the lid closed.
2. Drain OPEN.
3. Cooler slanted toward the drain.
4. Place in a cool area.
5. Wet old towel or burlap on top.
6. Ice, but try to imitate the way they were iced at purchase. Heavy ice? Light Ice?
7. Must be out of the wind.
8. Open cooler periodically to allow oxygen exchange.
9. Use UN-chlorinated Ice and WELL Water TO Purge & clean, if possible.
10. If they stink or have black water coming out of the bag, don’t buy them.
11. If the shells are soft, or the bag is smashed flat, don’t buy them.
